Development:

INTER-AM assists in developing health programs and easy-to-understand informational materials. We strive to achieve all the goals of the sponsoring organization while, simultaneously, our projects are designed to contribute to individual growth and community development.
INTER-AM's strategy is to obtain input and feedback from the target audience from the beginning of a project and throughout the development process. We believe that this approach is crucial in bridging gaps that often exist between the goals of programs and the needs of their clients. Examples of recent projects:
Developed several photonovels for a national organization on good agricultural practices and on how to prevent food borne illnesses.
Developed train-the-trainer guide for an educational institution, designed to train volunteers on how to effectively pass on information regarding nutrition, physical activity and chronic disease preventi n.
Assisted in the development of a series of health sessions for a state public health department, intended to help prevent cardiovascular disease among women 40 years of age and older.
Assisted in the creation of several surveys and questionnaires for educational institutions and state public health departments, on a variety of health topics including diabetes, HIV-AIDS, venereal diseases, maternal and child health issues, breast and cervical cancer, and asthma.
